Theres a tongue ring I fall short of but it is only available in 12 gauge. I have a 14g hole since march so its healed cute good. The website says that it will fit most 14g but will it actually work?

You'll hazard stretching out your piercing and harming it, so I don't think you should do it.
But if you go for it, be VERY gentle when putting it in and be persuaded to be cleaning it and looking out for blood/pus that's thick/yellow/green.
