what tongue ring size do i use if i want to downsize?

i recently got my tongue pierced and my piercer wrote down what jewelry she second-hand. it says 12q 3/4 BB. im not sure what that means.
and i wanted to down square footage but im not sure what kind to get. please help.

Are you inescapable its not 12g?
Cause then that would mean 12 gauge 3/4 inch barbell.

As in downside you contemptible the length of the bar? Easy, just get something that's 12 gauge and shorter than 3/4 inch.
